Your Support is Needed: How to Donate

Zeltsin's storiesCash donations are critical to offering our programs.

In order to offer the healing programs of the Family Institute for Creative Well-Being, we need your support. Our goal is to offer these programs at little to no fee for families who already are financially strained. The income of families coping with a member with a disability is only 66% of families in general (2000 US Census).  Families dealing with long-term hospitalizations have increased expenses and often lost income.

Financial contributions support the staff and necessary operating expenses that make these programs possible. There is very little overhead. (Most workshops are offered in collaboration with other organizations. If you or your organization would like to host a workshop, give us a call at 651-639-2527 or e-mail us at diane@familyinstitute-cwb.org.)

Program Costs

Our program costs vary depending on the group served, activities and special accommodations.  Being therapeutic in nature, the group sizes are small.  Here are some average program costs:

Family workshop for 20 participants:  ~$800 to ~$1000

Parents/caregivers overnight retreat for 8 participants: $1600

Therapeutic creative expression groups for 6 to 8 participants - series of 6:  $1656

Individual bedside therapy:  $100

Please consider making a donation to the Family Institute in any amount.  Your donations will directly support these important programs for families.  We rely on your compassion and generosity to make a difference in the lives of these families.  From the families served and from the Family Institute, we thank you for your gift of financial support. We welcome your questions.
